Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Not me!

Sometimes we should wonder why we are actually afraid.  This Ridinghood is discovering that the wolf is bigger and badder in the stories of her ancestors than in real life.

  2. Very good concept. I like that the wolf is scarier in shadow that in her reality.

    1. Yes...I did a few other paintings of RRH and the wolf and my friend told me how she also go the creeps but couldn't stop looking ;)

  7. I really like the mood you have created in this piece. There is something very transient about it with the light brush work, like we're witnessing a secret moment between the wolf and red riding hood. It should feel threatening (because of the story) but actually it is far from it. :)

    1. I love her too...although the traditional tale fascinates and puzzles me at the same time!
